Fantastic mountain scenery surrounds this traditional older style budget 3 Bedroom Villa with its own small terraced garden on the lush green mountainside of Monduver. With its Private pool and the well established garden this villa is ideal for those who enjoy peace and tranquility. The villas semi-rural location (still close to all ameneties) makes for an idylic retreat from the stresses of modern-day life and a place where one can truly relax,

The villa / El casa

3 double bedrooms (1 double, 1 x triple , and 1 twin-bed ) Can sleep up to 7 people (small price supplement for 7th person) . The villa has a new well equiped kitchen. The pool area / terrace has been completely re-tiled and renovated last year (09).
The villa is not luxurious but provides comfortable accomodation for up to 7 people.
There is a basic TV, DVD, and CD Player in the cosy lounge. The settees in the living room are of local pine rustic design and are not new. There is one full newly fitted bathroom and a cloakroom with wc and washbasin. This cloakroom is very handy when getting ready to go out as effectively 2 lots of people can get ready at the same time.
The front garden has been left to nature and is a naturistic habitat for local fauna (wild flowers, cactai and grasses )and wildlife (mostly butterflies,grasshoppers and little lizards). The back garden (next to the pool) is for sunbathing and relaxing and is secluded by newly planted Cyprus trees.

Out and about

Approx 2-3 mns by car from the charming villages of BARX and LA DROVA with their restaurants and bars. Only 15 mns inland from the lively coastal resort of GANDIA and its AWARD WINNING BEACHES.

There are MARINAS at both GANDIA (15mns by car) and OLIVA where one can watch the sun go down over the yachts during the warm summer evenings. At Oliva Marina complex there is a also a pool that patrons of the Bar Restaurant can use.

Valencia airport is 85kms to the north. Alicante airport is 120 kms to the south.

The villa is located only 20mns from the OLIVA NOVA GOLF COMPLEX. A superb course on the shores of the Mediteranean designed by Severiano Balesteros. See the golfclub online at olivanovagolf

The closest big town is the lively seaside resort of Gandia which is perfect for eating out, and nightlife or more horizontal activities like sunbathing on the wide golden sands of its Blue Flag Beaches during the heat of the day.There is also the historic fountain laden streets of Gandias old town set inland 3 kms from the beach where the boutiques and excellent cafe culture is well worth a visit.

Things to do

AQUOPOLIS Water them park with loads of different slides and pools at CULLERA only 20mns up the coast from Gandia is a great day out for the whole family.

The famous HISTORIC town of XATIVA is only a short drive away. In this beautiful castle town one can explore its medieval castle and ramparts or simply stroll through the charming winding streets.There are also bars / restaurants.

Further afield VALENCIA is only a 45mn train journey from Gandia and offers exclusive shopping, restaurants and cosmopolitan atmosphere. To the South of Gandia CALPE with its famous spectacular rocky peninsular jutting out into the Med is around 25 mins down the coast. JAVEA which is closer than Calpe has many waterside restaurants is overlooked by the charming castle ruins high above the plethora of winding streets that lead down to the seafront nightlife.
Benidorm is only 45 mins away and is well worth a visit especially Levante beach. It is busy though!

We ask for 50% of the villa hire to reserve the villa and the remaining 50% approx 8 weeks before you go. There is also a fully refundable security deposit of £150. Please note that the villa will not usually be ready until 2.30pm on your arrival date and must be vacated by 10 am on your departure day.
