Costa Calma is situated on the South East coast and marks the start of the Playa de Sotavento, 12 miles of stunning white sand and turquoise coloured sea. Choose between lazing around relieving the daily stresses of life soaking up the sun or if you feel more adventurous, take part in one of the many watersport activities that this part of the island is famous for. Snorkelling, scuba diving, wind & kite surfing can all be found locally. The Wind Surfing World Championships are held here each year in July, the off shore wind providing ideal conditions for both beginners and experts alike.

Costa Calma is set among some stunningly beautiful surrounding, care has been taken in the development of the main resort which is built around a small village called "Canada del Rio". Built up areas are seperated by green zones comprising Canarian Pines which provide a haven for wildlife.
The resort is a perfect place for those in search of seclusion and relaxation and is popular with families, couples and honeymooners.
There is no central area but there are several shopping centres that provide a nucleus for the immediate vicinity so you are never far away from all the amenities.

Casa Margarita is a newly built, spacious, 2 bedroom apartment on the "La Residencia" complex right in the heart of the resort. The apartments exclusive position overlooks the communal swimming pool and garden, an ideal place to laze away the day.

The apartment has all mod cons including a new fitted kitchen, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, satellite TV/DVD player. The two bedrooms consisit of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom both benifitting from fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has bath with overhead shower.

The night life is fairly low key, although there are enough bars and restaurants to suit everyones taste, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, German and English are all catered for.
