Cortijo El Coto is a country house (casa rural register CR/AL/107) situated within the Natural Park of Sierra Maria – Los Velez in the eastern part of Andalucia. We are amidst of 22000 hectares of nature, mountains, wildlife…the ideal place to relax.

Los Velez, a mountainous district with a Moorish Andalusian past, has a range of places and landscapes whose breathtaking beauty will mesmerize visitors. Mountain villages at the feet of steep valleys, fields of cereals and almond trees whose colours change with the seasons, ancient olive trees….
It was some 18000 years ago that the original inhabitants of the area settled in in this region.
The 25 archaeological sites which have been declared World heritage Sites by UNESCO, contain some of the most important examples of cave paintings in Spain.

Cortijo El Coto is a traditional country house fully restored and meeting today’s luxury standards. It is situated on a property of 6 hectares, surrounded by pine trees and almond groves.
The official park walking tracks start right behind the house.

We can assist you whenever you want in (Dutch, French, German, English and Spanish).

Apartment 1:Fully restored apartment of 100m2 in Moorish style with 3 bedrooms (high quality mattresses) and 3 bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven..) and living room.

Apartment 2:

Fully restored apartment of 100 m2 in Mountain style with 3 bedrooms (high quality mattresses) and 3 bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven..) and living room.

Cortijo is eco-friendly. The electricity is generated from solar panels.
The swimming pool (8.5 by 4.5m) functions with natural salt. The vegetable garden is organic.

Prices are per apartment per week.
In high season the minimum stay is one week.(July-August)
The prices are calculated on the number of persons occupying the apartment.
From 7-8 persons onwards you automatically get the 2 apartments. (you will always be the only guests)
