Cortijo Regalo. Enjoyed very much our stay. The villa is very much in the traditional style which we prefer and was both clean and tidy on arrival. It has everything you will need as a home from home and is well laid out and comfortable. Four of us stayed for the first five days which left my partner and i for the remaining two weeks or so. I would only make mention that an additional sofa or seating in the main room would have been useful as it was a little tight for four, but i stress this is not a criticism, only an observation as the Villa has plenty of space. The pool is a must with the hot weather which was put to its intended use. The bedrooms, all good and the two bathrooms, well always useful and pleasant. Air con in the main bedroom usefully but also found just leaving all the windows open at night with air con off and using the upright fans worked very well also but the air con did come in handy when needed. The hoist Martin was very helpful with suggestion on eating out and when a need arose he was very helpful and obliging. Friggilliana is some ten minutes away with an assortment of small shops and the market on Thursday which is worth a visit. for shopping Nerja has a good number of supermarkets, Mercadona for most things. If you cook and fancy a BBQ the best place we found for meat is Super Sol, Mercadona have a meat counter/butcher but these are not high end cuts for that we used Super Sol which has an excellent butchers and produce. For Fish Mercadona we found best. If you are shopping any length of time we used a couple of cool bags with ice bags handy which meant we could stop for lunch on the way back to Villa Regalo! Would we stay again? absolutely yes, its a great villa and well cared for by its owner. We have stayed a good number of times around Frigilliana and we enjoyed this one very much. Easy to get to, private with fantastic views and walk to restaurants.

Just returned from our second superb visit to this wonderful house, so relaxing and comfortable and Martin and Loli so friendly and helpful. Can not fault the house, the area or the owners-thank you.

We stayed at this wonderful house for two weeks and could have stayed for another two. The house is wonderful, the views are stunning and the owners were perfect. We will hopefully return soon. Thank you.

Simply perfect villa set in the hills above the village of Frigilana. The owners are brillant and very helpful. The villa itself has amazing views and has everything you need for your stay. Very highly recommended and hope to return ourselves.
