Entrepenas

Entrepenas, or as it is written in Spanish, Entrepeñas, is a small village in the province of
Guadalajara in the autonomos region of Castille-La Mancha. In an unspoilt area of natural beauty, with rolling hills, lakes and as much fresh air as you can take in on your holiday! As it sits 850 metres above sea level, the air is clean and fresh and clear as ice.

It’s a perfect location for those wanting to get away from it all, and enjoy country rambles, and rustic living on their holiday.

Places to visit
Entrepenas is just 90 minutes drive from Madrid and the interesting, historical city of Cuenca, with its hanging houses, is just an hour’s drive away.

Things to do
Rambling, hiking, horse riding, cycling. If you are into outdoor acitivites in a rural location then you will be in your element in Entrepenas.

Climate
The climate is predominantly Mediterranean, but there is a degree of the continental climate too. The further south, the longer and hotter the summers, and in the mountainous areas, there is a lot of rainfall and snow at the highest altitudes.
